Acoustic guitar, shuffling feet, murmurs of approval and smells of paints and pizza greeted people as they milled in the halls and studios of  the 4th Annual Banbury Art Crawl.

Local artists and artisans displayed their work with the hope of making sales, many with smart phone credit card readers handy. Some vendors gave demonstrations showing how they create everything from blown glass to knit blankets.

The occasion was free to visitors and included three floors for them to roam. Many of the participants have studios in the almost 2 million square feet of Banbury Place.

Even with all that space, the hallways, workrooms and stairwells were congested with eager spectators. This event brought artists and local citizens together in one place, and out of the cold.
