This week, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s hockey team played its first game of the Peters Cup tournament . Eau Claire Memorial’s hockey team played Regis-McDonnell-Bloomer with a trip to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association state quarterfinals on the line.

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association’s boys’ basketball tournament  started with Eau Claire North, Memorial, and Regis all playing. Those three schools will begin action in the WIAA girls’ basketball tournaments this weekend.

UW-Eau Claire’s softball team begins its season with a double header this weekend.
