University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff put together multiple events to help educate others during Black History Month. Some of these events included student and faculty panels, a presentation from Civil Rights activist Joanne Bland, and even poems read to music.
Inside Eau Claire reporter Devon Lehr sat down with Demetrius Evans, the President of UW-Eau Claire’s Black Student Alliance who helped organized the Black History Month Events on campus. She talked with us about her experience with being President of the Black Student Alliance, and about the events that happened during this month.
