It was a disappointing loss for the Blugolds mens hockey team when they fell 3-0 against St. Norbert. Even in the face of the loss Blugold goalie Brandon Stephenson took some time to surprise one of his biggest fans.

After the game Stephenson met five-year-old Wyatt Sisko. Sisko had became a big fan of Stephenson after going to a Blugold hockey game earlier in the season. Wyatt’s Father, Travis, reached out to Stephenson and they planned a surprise for Wyatt.
After the Peter’s Cup final game, Wyatt visited the locker room to meet Stephenson but was surprised with an autographed goalie stick.

Wyatt wants to say Thank You Jackson and Michael!! You guys really made this an unforgettable experience and life long memory for our family!! Thank You.
Great job putting that together Jackson. Very well done.
Nice job, Jackson!
Awesome!!!!
I’m Brandon’s grandmother and am so proud of him for taking the time with little ones. That is my grandson very kind hearted, he has a 10 year old brother that is also following in his brothers foot steps as a goalie, Blake.Wish the teams well as they leave Wednesday for Lake Placid, NY for the Frozen Four.
This story is so much more special to us now that Brandon and the Bluegolds are National Champions. Wyatt still plays hockey non stop in the house everyday and is always wanting to be the goalie named “Brandon”. He now wants goalie pads and a goalie stick “that he can actually use” since Brandon’s is hanging up.
Hey Jackson or Michael, can you contact thru email or cell to touch base on getting a copy of Wyatt’s story? Thank you both again on a awesome story!! Especially now they won the National Champions!!
I have known Brandon since he was Wyatt’s age and this act of kindness does not surprise me about Brandon. He has been a champion his whole life on and off the ice and he will continue to be for many years to come. We are very proud of his accomplishments! Great Season Brandon and Great way to show appreciation to a young fan!
