Judy Meinen said she never thought she was different from anyone else when she could hear communication between animals and nature at the age of three. To this day, she still doesn’t think she has a special gift.
“I think everybody has a metaphysical—a psychic—ability of some sort and it’s neat to just see what evolves,” she said.
Today, Meinen uses her psychic skills to help others work through issues they have. She also helps people heal their bodies and minds.
At Angel Care Healing Touch, the business that Meinen owns and operates, she offers angel therapy, card readings and touch therapy, among other non-traditional healing methods.
She said she likes working with people who are skeptical, too. She has turned some people into believers, as is the case with Eau Claire resident Janice Swanke.
