More and more students are becoming eligible for free and reduced price lunches, according to data collected by the Eau Claire Area School District

Teachers in the Eau Claire Area School District are in the process of implementing culturally relevant teaching, a best practice in the field to be more inclusive and understanding of their students’ cultural experiences.

Members of three government bodies – the Eau Claire City Council, Eau Claire County and the Eau Claire Area School District – meet each month as the Joint Commission of Shared Initiative to brainstorm ways in which they can work together to better fill the needs of the city.
