Read more...Annual events, including National Coming Out Day and the Eau Queer Film Festival provide opportunities to learn more about the LGBTQ community. The prevalence of these events show signs of acceptance of the LGBTQ community on the UW-Eau Claire campus, but the overall consensus of members of the LGBTQ community is that there is still a long way to go before feeling completely comfortable throughout the Eau Claire community.
